The strategic vision of SPO is to train and develop the best SCM junior executives in the world. The philosophy undergirding this vision is that continuous learning and development must permeate an executive’s early career so that they continue to keep their competitive edge. Put simply, we continuously train and develop the best, so they continue to be the best! Conversely, failure to invest in your supply chain talent is the quickest route to competitive disadvantage in the marketplace. The choice is clear.
SPO has partnered with The Humphrey Group (THG) to create, for the first time, a world class leadership certificate program. The Certificate in Leadership Communication (CLC) will be comprised of three signature seminars from THG: Authentic Leadership, Inclusive Leadership and Speaking as a Leader.
Initially, all training and development was conducted in an in-person format. However, because of the global nature of our SPO Executive Council companies, we now believe that a virtual platform that allows junior executives from around the world to participate in our JET seminars simultaneously would significantly enhance the share construction of knowledge.
UPCOMING EVENTS
The intent of the SPO Executive Council is to organize seminars where a diversity of junior executives from a multitude of firms are presents, providing a rich tapestry of business problems, ideas, and solutions to consider. As a result of this intent, SPO Executive Council firms may only place a maximum of five executives in any specific JET seminar. The Certificate in Leadership Communication (CLC), our original JET training seminar, will be offered twice per year (Spring and Fall).
